Halley is an absolute gem. I needed to find a last-minute photographer and she was more than accommodating - she helped me pick the spot, she was a sunrise trooper with a great attitude at 6am, and she even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate with. The proposal was a surprise under the guise of an anniversary photoshoot. Halley kept the secret and when the time came she gave us plenty of room and privacy to enjoy the moment while still capturing the scene moment perfectly. We felt completely comfortable with her the entire time, even in the most intimate moments. The final photos show just how talented she is. We will cherish them for a lifetime.

Halley knows big sur like the back of her hand, if you are unsure of specific areas to shoot at, but have an idea of what you are imagining, she’s your gal! Our elopement took place on a very cold and windy day, but somehow our pictures turned out looking like we were having the time of our lives in the most comfortable of settings. She also works with you on any specific requests you may have, she doesn’t stick to just one style. I wanted lots of movement and filmy type of pictures and she did an amazing job:) Seriously couldn’t be happier with the results

We never had professional pictures done before so I was really nervous that I would feel awkward and it would show in our engagement and wedding pictures, but taking pictures with Halley seriously feels like hanging out with a friend you've known forever! She has such a warm and inviting personality that really made us feel like we could just be ourselves and it shows in the genuine laughs and sweet moments she caught on camera. Every time we look through our pictures I'm transported back to our perfect day and it literally would not have been the same without Halley there. My wife and I got married at Wind and Sea in Big Sur, and Halley took our wedding photos. She is such an amazing photographer with tremendous artistic talent and a charming and sweet personality. The highlight of the day was when she introduced us to a "hidden trail" off of a popular spot during our adventure photo session where we got to explore the wilder side of us, climbing up rocks and even hopping over to a log that fell across a stream. She stayed with us all the way through to the end of the day and we were very pleased with the photos we received after the wedding. She did an excellent job capturing the special moment for the two of us, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to get married in Big Sur.

Usually not the type to write reviews, but I can’t help but write one for Halley. If you’re on the fence on whether to work with Halley or not, I can confidently say that you won’t regret your decision. My fiancé and I worked with her for our engagement photos at Torrey Pines, San Diego and the photos blew us away. The pictures were candid and natural, edits seemed minimal, and she was able to get them processed faster than we expected. The photo shoot itself was so much fun too. She brought her speaker and allowed us to have a personal playlist for the session. On top of all this, we had our pup in our photo shoot and she was able to get beautiful pictures in all the craziness.
My husband and I booked Halley for our PNW elopement on the Washington coast and we were blown away! Halley is the most incredible destination elopement photographer ever. Our photos turned out so stunning and perfect! I am so thankful for Halley's talent, patience, and professionalism during the entire process.
